Support File Descriptions

Device Models
Device Models are supplied as VHDL, Verilog, or SWIFT models.

VHDL and Verilog models are supplied as behavioral source code. Because they are compiled by the user into the user's own environment, they are compatible with all simulators and platforms.

SWIFT models are similar to Synopsys SmartModels. They are compatible with any simulator that supports the SWIFT interface. However, they are platform specific.

All MUSIC Device Models require the customer to sign a Software License. For the best possible service, purchase orders for device models should specify the following:

  • The desired MUSIC device
  • Simulator
  • Language (VHDL or Verilog)
  • Platform
  • Operating System
